A Warm Welcome to Park Farm Shop and Tearoom
Park Farm Shop and Tearoom take great pride in offering customers flavoursome homemade products using traceable ingredients, which, where possible, are our own or locally produced. We are regulars at all the busy Farmers Markets throughout the North West. Park Farm Shop and Tearoom is also a keen charity fundraiser – raising many hundreds of pounds every year for charity through regular fundraising events. We are a traditional family business and we close our Tea Shop for family holidays for a week during the Summer and for one week in January.
Licensed Tearoom
The family-run tearoom at Park Farm Shop and Tearoom offers an all-day breakfast, a varies lunchtime menu with weekly specials, and a tasty selection of cakes, scones and sandwiches throughout the day. Our peaceful venue is an equally popular location for business lunches as well as for workmen – with wellington boots as acceptable in our dress code as a tie and suit!
Afternoon Tea
Afternoon Tea is a special occasion and is always served on our Fine Bone China and your table dressed with crisp linen. For afternoon tea booking 24hr in advance, please. We are also happy to welcome club and Church groups/organisations. The perfect event? – hanging basket, gardening or cookery demonstrations …finishing with ‘afternoon tea’. Please telephone us on 01706 82 3584 or email info@mattr45.sg-host.com to discuss in more detail.

From Little Acorns-Great Oaks Grow!
Our very own James and Amelie are developing into young farmers and business people, taking inspiration from their late Grandad, the wise Mr Lees, they presently keep a number of laying hens, Bluebell hens, Black rocks, White stars, Speckled hens, and Warrens which provide eggs for the Teashop and for sale in the farm shop. All of the grandchildren help out, either with milking, or helping in the Teashop or Garden centre. The older ones involved in the contracting business.
Charity Fundraising
The Tearoom continues to raise tremendous amounts for both local & national Charities, including Alder Hey Hospital, The British Heart Foundation, Cancer Research & Steps to name but a few!
Mrs Lees’ bookstall alone has raised over £13,000 to-date. £900 was donated via Ramsbottom Business Group to purchase a Defibrillator box for the local community in Ramsbottom. This is an essential piece of equipment to assist in case of cardiac arrest. Thank you to all our customers for their kind donations to our bookstall and your continued support in helping these fantastic causes.
September 2015 £3691….was raised at the recent Park Farm Swingtastic afternoon tea party. The money raised will go to the Bury Dementia Service, and will fund a dementia cafe for 12 months benefitting at least 250-300 people in Bury with dementia and their carers. 180 afternoon teas were served; the 40’s sing-a-along and dancing was led by Claire & Marj, great thanks to them, also thanks to the Park Farm Teashop staff and volunteers, and to our suppliers, customers and staff who provided some fabulous raffle prizes, and with great thanks to the military police who provided crowd control over the two day event !!!.
