From Little Acorns-Great Oaks Grow!
Our very own Thomas Lees is a developing and aspiring young farmer who farms pigs at Park Farm and takes his inspiration from his late Grandad, the wise Mr Lees, who reared them on the farm over 40 years ago. The sausage served in the Tearoom with our All Day Breakfast are from the pigs he has raised. The sausages are also available to buy frozen from the Farm Shop.
Charity Fundraising
The Tearoom continues to raise tremendous amounts for both local & national Charities, including Alder Hey Hospital, The British Heart Foundation, Cancer Research & Steps to name but a few! Mrs Lees’ bookstall alone has raised over £7000 since 2010. The latest funds (approx. £900) have been donated via Ramsbottom Business Group to purchase a Defibrillator box for the local community in Ramsbottom. This is an essential piece of equipment to assist in case of cardiac arrest. Thank you to all our customers for their kind donations to our bookstall and your continued support in helping these fantastic causes.
